On an autumn evening in Everett, Washington, a dispute over a stolen cell phone escalated into a fatal encounter, claiming the life of 55-year-old Darren Larson, a Caucasian male. On October 17, 2017, Larson had arranged to meet two individuals who he believed had his girlfriend's missing phone.
