On a Sunday morning in Stevenson, Washington, the life of Michael K. McLaughlin, a 37-year-old Caucasian male from Tigard, Oregon, was tragically cut short. The events that led to his death on December 17, 2017, began after a weekend trip with four other individuals to Bagby Hot Springs in the Mount Hood National Forest.
