Jose De Santiago Perez, a 27-year-old Hispanic/Latino man, was shot in the head on the evening of March 18, 2020, while socializing with two friends at a small park near Second Avenue North and West Cloudy Street in Kent’s North Park neighborhood, across from Kent Station. First responders rushed him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he died the next day, March 19, 2020.
