In the summer of 1910, a veteran of the Civil War serving as a police lieutenant in Ashland, Kentucky, lost his life. Lieutenant Conrad Frank, a 63-year-old male, succumbed to gunshot wounds on Wednesday, June 29, 1910, a day after a raid on an establishment selling illegal liquor.
