In the early morning hours of March 12, 2025, a verbal dispute at the Bluegrass Inn on Winchester Avenue in Ashland, Kentucky, escalated into a fatal encounter for Barry Justin Burton. The 30-year-old man, a resident of Ashland, was found with a gunshot wound in the motel's parking lot. Emergency services were called to the scene, and Burton was quickly flown to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries a little after 6:15 a.m ...
