In the pre-dawn hours of April 7, 2019, the quiet of a Novi, Michigan mobile home community was shattered by a brutal act of violence that claimed the life of 21-year-old Tia Lanae Joe. An unknown assailant forced entry into her residence on Rousseau Drive and opened fire, striking the young mother multiple times. Tragically, her infant son, Braxton, who was just six months old at the time, was also wounded in the attack but ultimately survived his injuries.
