In late May of 2015, a tragic event unfolded in a quiet Novi, Michigan apartment, culminating in the death of 36-year-old Camille Daniels. The unfortunate discovery was made on Friday, May 29th, after a concerned high school friend of Camille's husband, David Daniels Jr., alerted authorities to a troubling post on social media. This led police to the couple's residence in the 25000 block of Shorecrest Drive, where they found both Camille and her 40-year-old husband deceased.
Investigations into their deaths quickly pointed to a domestic dispute that had escalated with fatal consequences. Authorities found a handgun at the scene that was registered to David Daniels. The preliminary findings from the investigation led police to classify the incident as a murder-suicide, with David having taken Camille's life before his own. The case, therefore, did not proceed to an arrest or trial as the sole suspect was also deceased.
