In the quiet farming community of Henderson, Kentucky, a day of anticipated joy turned into a scene of unimaginable horror on March 28, 1955. Goebel Duncan, a 51-year-old male farmer, and his son, Raymond Duncan, were looking forward to visiting Raymond's wife in the hospital, who had just given birth to their first child.
