In the quiet community of Shopville, Kentucky, a political rally and fish fry at the local fire department on the evening of April 13, 2002, took a tragic turn. Pulaski County Sheriff Samuel Wilson Catron, a 48-year-old male, had just finished giving a speech for his re-election campaign.
