On the evening of January 22, 2009, the quiet community of Dudleytown was disturbed by a 911 call reporting a woman had been shot inside her home. When officers from the Jackson County Sheriff's Department and the Indiana State Police arrived at the residence, they discovered the body of 39-year-old Nancy M. Bradley.
