On a summer evening in Milton, Kentucky, the life of 16-year-old Carlin Sarah Davis was tragically cut short in an act of violence stemming from a soured romance. On July 20, 2014, Carlin was shot and killed by 48-year-old Robert Harmon, the recent ex-boyfriend of her aunt, Nikki Davis. The tragic event unfolded in the home on Gariott Court that Harmon had shared with Nikki Davis and where Carlin had been staying for several months.
