Monika Roberts, a 35-year-old woman from Henderson, KY, was reported missing in late September 2018. Her body was discovered in an abandoned home in Evansville, Indiana, a few days later. The Henderson Police Department (HPD) confirmed that Roberts had been fatally shot in the head, and her body was transported from Henderson to Evansville. The investigation revealed that Roberts had been living in various hotels in Henderson with her fiancé, Neil Heiss, who was later charged with her murder.
