On the evening of January 23, 2016, the life of 24-year-old Jeremiah Otaveous Washington was tragically cut short in Georgetown, Kentucky. Responding to reports of gunfire at approximately 7:30 p.m., Scott County Sheriff's deputies arrived at a residence on Tipps Lane to find Washington lying in the driveway with two gunshot wounds to his chest.
