Michael Watson, a 48-year-old man, was fatally shot in Georgetown, Kentucky, on the evening of Thursday, September 26, 2024. The incident unfolded on 'Happy Hollow' Road, where police responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered Watson with a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation into the shooting led authorities to identify 18-year-old Keyondre Jones as a suspect.
Jones was located and arrested by the Georgetown Police Department and is currently being held at the Scott County Detention Center. He has been charged with murder in connection with Watson's death.
