On July 2, 2023, at approximately 10:00 PM, a tragic shooting occurred at the intersection of Locust and Walnut Streets in Lockport, New York. The incident resulted in the death of 19-year-old Rakeem Hilton and left a 27-year-old female victim seriously injured. Emergency responders pronounced Hilton deceased at the scene, while the female victim was transported to Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) for medical treatment.
