In a tragic incident in Georgetown, Kentucky, a man lost his life in his own home. On Sunday, April 7, 2019, 47-year-old Michael Ray Smith was fatally shot. The shooting occurred in the morning, around 10:30 a.m., at a residence on Long Lick Road. At the time of the incident, there were seven family members inside the house, including five juveniles.
