In the early morning hours of June 9, 2016, the life of 27-year-old Douglas James 'DJ' Jordan, a male resident of Lexington, Kentucky, was tragically cut short. At approximately 2:49 a.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 300 block of E. Maxwell Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Jordan lying in the street, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
