An African-American male of 37 years, he was fatally wounded in a double shooting that unfolded on M Street. In the aftermath, the Louisville Metro Police Department launched a homicide
investigation into the death of Coleman. Despite their efforts, the case has remained unsolved, with no suspects publicly identified or apprehended. Left to cherish his memory are his children, a son named Anthony J. Coleman and a daughter, Aniyah J. Brown, as well as a grandson, Jaquez Coleman.
