Quiltavia Patterson, 25, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting in Chicago’s West Pullman neighborhood on September 25, 2012. Patterson was walking home from a family gathering with her sister when gunfire erupted from a passing vehicle, striking her and three others. Patterson died at the scene, along with Jermaine Carter, a local resident. Her sister and another man were seriously injured.
