Jolanta Topolska, a 53-year-old woman from Chicago, Illinois, tragically lost her life on October 12, 2019. Jolanta, who was of Polish descent, was one of the victims in a horrific shooting incident that took place in a residential building on Chicago's Northwest Side. The incident occurred when Krysztof Marek, a 66-year-old man facing eviction, went on a shooting rampage, killing five of his neighbors.
