In a quiet mobile home in Florence, Kentucky, the life of Teresa Marie Scheiderer Wade, a 34-year-old female, came to a tragic end on June 9, 2017. Born on September 19, 1982, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Teresa was a loving mother to her son. Formerly of Goshen, Ohio, she had built a life in Florence.
On that Friday afternoon, law enforcement was called to a residence on Hazel Drive, where they made a grim discovery.
Inside the home, Teresa was found deceased alongside her estranged husband, 39-year-old Christopher Wade. The Boone County Sheriff's Office investigated the scene and determined that the tragic event was an apparent murder-suicide. Neighbors reported that the couple had recently separated.
The investigation concluded that Christopher Wade was the sole suspect in Teresa's death, having taken his own life after killing her. As a result, no arrests were made in connection with her murder. The incident left a community in shock and a family to mourn the loss of a mother, daughter, and sister. A memorial service was held to honor her memory at Goshen United Methodist Church.
