On July 6, 2024, a tragic mass shooting occurred in Florence, Kentucky, resulting in the death of 19-year-old Delaney Eary, along with three other individuals. The incident took place at a home on Ridgecrest Drive, where a family was celebrating their son's 21st birthday party. Delaney Eary was among the four people killed in the shooting, the others being Melissa Parrett, 44, Shane Miller, 20, and Hayden Rybicki, also 20.
