On a Tuesday afternoon in the Shawnee neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, the life of Jamah Sherman Gatlin was tragically cut short. On April 3, 2018, the 25-year-old Black male was found suffering from a gunshot wound on Boston Court. The shooting occurred around 3 p.m., and Gatlin was quickly transported to University Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. As of reports from that time, no suspects had been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting.
