In the summer of 2018, the life of Nevander S. Tardy, a 27-year-old Black/African American male, was cut short in Bowling Green, Kentucky. On the evening of July 11, 2018, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Tardy was discovered near Rock Creek Road with multiple gunshot wounds. First responders arrived at the scene, but his injuries were too severe, and he was pronounced dead.
