In the early morning hours of Saturday, February 16, 2019, the community of Freeburn in Pike County, Kentucky, was disturbed by the sound of gunshots. Gregory Alan 'Little Greg' Fields, a 27-year-old male, was fatally wounded inside a residence in the Johnson Bottom area. The incident, which was reported to the Kentucky State Police at 5:29 AM, was the result of an altercation that had taken place.
