In the early hours of February 8, 2020, the life of 22-year-old Andrew Tyler Ragland, a White/Caucasian male, was cut short in the Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. Shortly after 1 a.m., in the 2400 block of Marguerite Drive, a physical altercation preceded a fatal shooting. When Louisville Metro Police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Ragland with a gunshot wound to his torso.
He was rushed to the University of Louisville Hospital for medical attention.
Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Andrew Tyler Ragland succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Andrew, born on April 23, 1997, in Louisville, was known to his friends and family as a caring and hardworking individual. He had a passion for sports, ardently supporting the University of Louisville Basketball team and the Green Bay Packers. He found joy in playing pool and basketball and cherished the time he spent with his loved ones. His death left a void in the lives of his mother, stepfather, grandmother, siblings, and a wide circle of extended family and friends who remember him fondly.
