In the spring of 2020, the life of 19-year-old Sheatun Douglas Richard Davis, Jr., an African-American male from Louisville, Kentucky, was tragically cut short. On April 23, 2020, Davis was found deceased inside a vehicle in the Crescent Hill neighborhood, specifically near Grinstead Drive and South Bayly Avenue. An autopsy would later confirm that he had sustained a fatal gunshot wound, and his death was officially ruled a homicide.
