Jashawn Lamar Crook, a 29-year-old resident of Louisville, Kentucky, lost his life to gun violence on May 5, 2024. The incident occurred in the Russell neighborhood of Louisville, where police responded to a shooting just before midnight in the 2500 block of West Chestnut Street.
