Darrell Austin, age 19, was fatally shot on November 21, 2012, in Chicago's West Englewood neighborhood. The incident occurred in the 6500 block of South Marshfield Avenue, during what would become one of the deadliest years for homicides in the city in recent times. Austin was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
