In the late afternoon of May 13, 2020, a tragic event unfolded in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, forever altering the lives of several families. Michael Buckner Thomas, a 37-year-old male, was found deceased inside a vehicle on Patterson Street, the victim of a fatal shooting.
