In the early morning hours of a cold January day in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, the life of 22-year-old Windell Jones was tragically cut short. On January 27, 2016, police responded to a call of shots fired at a townhouse on Westport Road. Inside, they found Windell, a young man known for his friendly demeanor and his job at a local restaurant, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, he died at the scene.
