On a summer day in June of 2020, the community of Salyersville, Kentucky, was shaken by the discovery of a local man's untimely death. Jerold Arnett, a 78-year-old male resident, was found lying in a driveway on Roanne Road. The initial investigation by the Kentucky State Police revealed that Arnett had been shot.

Upon their arrival at the scene, troopers found Mr. Arnett unresponsive. The Magoffin County Deputy Coroner pronounced him deceased at the location of the incident. In the immed ...
