In the summer of 2020, the life of 50-year-old David W. Boggs, a devoted husband and father from Prospect, Kentucky, was tragically cut short in what police believe was a robbery gone wrong. On the evening of August 10th, Boggs was in the Shawnee neighborhood of Louisville, reportedly with his son, for the purpose of buying or selling a cell phone. This seemingly ordinary transaction took a fatal turn, ending in gunfire that claimed Boggs's life.
