Aaron Fox Leach, a 32-year-old male, was fatally shot in what police have deemed a homicide on August 24, 2020, in Lexington, Kentucky. The incident occurred inside a residence on Lindy Lane, where officers discovered Leach unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A few days following the discovery of Leach's body, authorities located and arrested a suspect in connection with the murder. Daniel J. Carroll, 33, was taken into custody at the Bryan Station Inn.
Investigators had identified Carroll as a person of interest early in the investigation and had been actively searching for him. He was charged with murder, and at the time of his arrest, was also found to have an outstanding warrant for a separate, unrelated charge.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Leach's death is ongoing.
