In the early morning hours of New Year's Day 2021, Jennifer Rose Whittaker, a 40-year-old White/Caucasian female, was asleep in her Louisville, Kentucky, home on Dixie Highway. The quiet of the holiday was shattered when an intruder entered her bedroom, awakening her with a chilling message before opening fire. The assailant reportedly said, 'Auntie, Happy New Year.
