In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Louisville, Kentucky, tragedy struck a young life. On January 10, 2021, 17-year-old Yasin Abdulkadir, a Black male, was fatally shot in the Park Hill neighborhood. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. in the 1800 block of Dumesnil Street, near Dr. W.J. Hodge Street.
