In the Russell neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, a 21-year-old Black male named Alec Tinko Pettiway was fatally shot on the night of Sunday, March 7, 2021. Responding to a call, Louisville Metro Police Department officers found Pettiway in the 900 block of Esquire Alley with at least one gunshot wound.
