In the city of Louisville, Kentucky, on May 27, 2021, the life of 25-year-old DezKuan Hubbard was tragically cut short. A Black male, Hubbard was the victim of a fatal shooting in the Algonquin neighborhood. The incident, which also left another individual injured, unfolded on South 11th Street, prompting an immediate response from the Louisville Metro Police Department.
