In the summer of 2021, the life of Andre Lamont Steadmon, Sr., a 42-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. On the afternoon of Saturday, June 12, officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department were dispatched to the 1200 block of West Hill Street in the Park Hill neighborhood following reports of a shooting.
