On May 14, 2022, a violent incident unfolded in Louisville, Kentucky, turning a milestone celebration into a tragedy. Kahlil Laghmani, an 18-year-old male, was traveling in a vehicle near the intersection of Hikes Lane and Taylorsville Road when the car was targeted by gunfire.
