In the early hours of Friday, June 17, 2022, the life of 24-year-old Chase S. Dempsey, a Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in Shelbyville, Kentucky. The shooting, which also left another man in his 20s wounded, unfolded shortly after midnight on Juniper Drive.
