On a quiet Sunday evening in Shelbyville, Kentucky, just two days before Christmas in 2018, the life of 53-year-old Jon Kerry Monroe was brought to a violent and tragic end. A farmer by trade and a resident of nearby Eminence, Monroe was visiting his girlfriend at her home on Southlawn Drive.
