In the late summer of 2025, the quiet community of Shelbyville, Kentucky, was unsettled by the death of Timothy Lee Ethington, a 58-year-old White male. On the evening of Wednesday, August 20th, deputies from the Shelby County Sheriff's Office were called to a home in the Spring Oaks Estates neighborhood after a person was reported to be unresponsive.
