In the small town of Allen, Kentucky, a dedicated law enforcement officer, Ralph Harlow Frasure, a 60-year-old male, lost his life in a tragic and violent ambush. On the evening of June 30, 2022, Captain Frasure of the Prestonsburg Police Department was among a group of officers attempting to serve a domestic violence protective order at a residence on Main Street. The subject of the order, Lance Storz, was waiting for them.
