In the late summer of 2022, the life of 29-year-old Dietrich Lavell Murray was tragically cut short in Lexington, Kentucky. On the morning of August 31st, police responded to a report of a shooting and discovered Murray lying in the road at the intersection of North Broadway and Loudon Avenue with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The incident marked the city's 32nd homicide of the year.
