In the early morning hours of October 24, 2022, the life of Marcus D. McCathren, a 40-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short on Butler Way in Bowling Green, Kentucky. McCathren was walking along the street when he was fatally shot in what investigators have described as a drive-by shooting. The Bowling Green Police Department responded to reports of shots fired and found McCathren deceased at the scene.
