In the early morning hours of a November Saturday in Lexington, Kentucky, the life of William L. Edwards, a 34-year-old male, was tragically cut short. On November 12, 2022, the sound of gunshots pierced the pre-dawn quiet in the 300 block of Darby Creek Road. Responding to a report of the shooting at approximately 2:03 a.m., Lexington police officers arrived to find a grim scene. Edwards was discovered in the street, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
