In the chill of a Louisville evening on December 5, 2022, the life of Kenneth David Sauer, Jr., a 28-year-old Caucasian male, was tragically cut short. He and a friend, 24-year-old Jimy Mejias, were discovered with gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the Arthur Street Hotel in Old Louisville.
