Jewell Burnett, a 28-year-old woman from Minneapolis, MN, tragically lost her life on July 11, 2008. Jewell had been in a tumultuous relationship with Christopher Jefferson, aged 33, which had a history of violence. On the day of the incident, tensions between Jewell and Christopher escalated, reportedly over child support payments. This confrontation led to a devastating murder-suicide.
