On a cold January morning in Antrim Township, Minnesota, the life of 25-year-old Ashley Ann Sullivan, a White female, was tragically cut short. On January 17, 2010, Ashley and her stepfather, Chester Gronewold, were killed in a violent encounter that stemmed from a history of domestic turmoil. The person responsible was Ashley's ex-boyfriend, 28-year-old Shaun Eric Haugen.
